As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting various types of meat products in accordance with food safety standards. This is a vital role in our production facility. Responsibilities Cut, trim, and prepare different cuts of meat according to company specifications Adhere to proper food handling and safety guidelines to ensure the highest level of sanitation Maintain cleanliness and organization of the meat preparation area Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management regarding supply needs Assist in receiving and inspecting meat deliveries for quality and accuracy Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to maintain consistency in product quality Operate and maintain meat processing equipment, including knives, grinders, and slicers Skills Strong knowledge of meat cutting techniques and different cuts of meat Experience working in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant or culinary setting Proficient knife skills and ability to handle sharp objects safely Understanding of food safety regulations and ability to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate portioning and presentation of meat products Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the kitchen team If you are passionate about the culinary arts, have experience in meat cutting, we would love to hear from you.
