We’re looking for a Membership Growth and Retention Specialist to join our team! This position is responsible for developing, retaining, and increasing girl/adult membership, along with recruiting and providing ongoing support to volunteers. Service Areas: Lee County : Dixon, Freeport, Orangeville. Stephenson County : Stockton. Jo Davies County . Whiteside County : Rockfalls, Sterling. Ogle County

Hours: Full Time (37.5 hours per week) with flexibility Salary: $20.51/ hour, nonexempt

Are these skills and experience you could share with our team?
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a PREFERRED .
Ability to work a minimum of 37.5 hours per week; weekends and evenings required.
Strong communication skills—listening as well as written & verbal communication—and ability to communicate with persons of diverse backgrounds.
Minimum of 2-3 years related work experience.
Strong interpersonal skills: ability to cultivate, motivate and maintain effective working relationships with volunteers and staff from diverse backgrounds.
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Frequent travel within the Council area is required.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
